Sales & Design Associate
Full time
M-F, 8:00-5:00

In person with the ability to work remote or a modified schedule upon request.

Our Sales & Design Representative will develop relationships with firms to introduce our company and share our available products. They will complete sales transactions beginning with a conversation through design and customer delivery, primarily working with our design and corporate clients. A background in design, architecture or office furniture is important. Duties include:

  • Relationship building efforts with architecture, design and corporate clients including in-person meetings,
  • Staying updated on new product releases and catalogs from our vendors
  • Seeking out new vendors that meet client needs
  • Utilizing our products to showcase current trends and coordinate with client’s commercial design
  • Although the primary clients for this position require outside sales, employee will also work the sales floor as needed throughout the week
  • Attend professional organization events as a representative of ABC. Some events may be during the day or after hours, including but not limited to ULI, AIA, CREC and Greater OKC Chamber, etc.
  • Manage thank you and appreciation program for clients
  • May involve travel to trade shows and market

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Self-driven, independent schedule management
  • Interior design, construction, office furniture or architecture experience – ability to read floor plans is a plus.
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer & Tech skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe products, etc. This position will need to learn our in-house point-of-sale and inventory system.

ABC Office Furniture is a locally-owned office furniture retailer. We sell a variety of budget and mid-price point furniture and accessories. Our showroom in Downtown OKC is open to the public for corporate and home office customers Monday through Friday, 8-5. Delivery and Install services available.
